Sayokan Azarbaijan Bravery Games

Sayokan Azarbaijan Association had it's first national open bravery games on 29th November 2009.

The event took place in  Sumqayıt city where various styles joined like Shotakan, Ninjutsu and Kenjutsu.

Sayokan Azerbaijan Nevruz mini Bravery GamesAybar Vasif Namazov, Azarbaijan Sayokan representative, has arranged a mini bravery games for Nevruz on 15th March 2009.

Nevruz is a celebration for Turks which has beencustom for thousands of years. In recent years, Nevruz has been owned for so called other nations or etnicities claiming ownership. 

Turanian lands and people (Turks which spreaded from Europe to far east) celebrates Nevruz in various names which is listed below. The meaning of Nevruz is the awakening of nature (spring) and the existence of Nation of Turks. It is symbolized by Ergenekon. In Turkish mythology, Ergenekon is a legendary place located in the inaccessible valleys of the Altay Mountains, where Bumin Khan have gathered the Turkic people. See the picture below.

The World Martial Arts Bravery Games 2007 took place in Kayseri/Turkiye

Bravery Games 2007The World Martial Arts Bravery Games took place between 21-26 August in Kayseri, Turkiye. Several countries joined the full contact games and enjoyed the mount Erciyes during their stay where the residential hotel was based.

It was the first of it's kind in an open air on the grass with a different setup from the usual. First few days there were referee seminars to get the none Sayokan style referees used to the rules and regulations.

Sayokan Turkey's Open Bravery Games was held in August 27-28.

Open Turkish Bravery Games Sayokan Turkish Federation held an Open Bravery Games in Simav/ Kutahya in Turkey on 27-28th August 2005.

The games was watched with interest by 6 thousands spectators. Sayokan rituals before the games started made them very exited and they had nice days out in an open air.

Sayokan competitions are full contact and made in an open air on the grass. No protecting measures are worn and the duration of matches are five minutes.

Simav council governer Dr. Riza Ozdemir was very helpful organizing this event and he wants to make it a tradtion for STF to organize Turkey Bravery Games every year there. Among the protocal there were Kutahya MP Mr. Abdullah Erdem Cantimur and Sayokan USA Federation president and SWF vice president grandmaster Keith Nesbitt.

Bravery Games held in Turkey by Kaicho Hoosain Narker

Kaicho Narker, Grandmaster Kim, Tanyu Isa, Taygun NabipoorLast week the South African Protea karate team (full contact) comprisingmembers of Ashihara Karate, African Enshin as well as Kyokushin (Matsushima)returned from Turkey after competing in the World Bravery Games, a fullcontact - no pads, no gloves event fought on grass in a soccer stadium,organised by the Turkish Sayokan Federation.
