Sayokan is a way of physical fighting for an emotionally and spiritually matured person. It is an insurance for one to defend his/her life in a life threatening dangerous situation. In peace, it will give you confidence which will be radiated and further ensure the continuity of calmness.

It is a doctrine teaches to control one self, defend oneself. Defending onself is not achieved only by physical means. People who choose only one way have no talent of communication however cultured they may be. Sayokan exist beacuse every person you encounter may not have the pozitive and humanistic intentions and may want to harm you due to your physical disadvantage or else.

Sayokan techniques can cause damage to the offender. Therefore, the intention should be only to end the harmful attack and not to damage the person but show the offender that you are a capable person.

The aim of defending is; the offender should hit you without a hit!!! If you give permission to the offender to hit you, that mean you lack. Defender should never permit offender to cause any harm.
