Tola is the name of Sayokan forms (like Kata in Karate) which mimics the fundamental moves and techniques. Sayokan Tolas are practices with one or more partners depending on the strategy of the technique used.

Rules of TOLA

2 –  There are always 2 combinations on the left corridor, 2 on the right corridor, 3 on the front corridor and the last combination of Tola.

3 –  There are 4 basic combinations. These are 1st & 2nd combinations of left corridor; 1st & 3rd  combinations of front corridor. Other combinations are opposite of basic combinations. Except some specific TOLAs.

4 –  The TOLA must be finished within 1 square meter of it’s starting point.

5 –  All TOLAs must be practiced with opponents. Only alone practice is not valid.
